CheQ Systems further develops performance testing team
April 28, 2009

A series of training that aims to further build up the performance testing skills of CheQ Software Quality
Engineers started last March 17. This initiative was spearheaded by CheQ’s Research and Development Department.

CheQ President, Mr. Roel Hernandez, an experienced performance tester himself, was the first to discuss the importance and the demand for performance testing. He updated the participants about the software development industry’s need to develop applications that are fast in multi-users environment. He said that this opens doors to many software testing opportunities not yet reached by performance testing because the software market needs to be more mature about their needs.

CheQ clients that require performance testing for their projects will be attended to by this Performance Testing Team headed by Roel and Managers Mr. Rommie Patricio and Mr. Edison Ong. The team consists of six experienced testers, who will handle the performance testing projects of the company. They are going through a series of training, which will focus on tools like HP LoadRunner, case studies, and exercises to equip them.

It is CheQ’s goal for this year to upgrade its performance testing service since this area of testing requires skills in all major components of IT such as hardware, software, and network. Thus, the project requires collaboration and cooperation among its members to deliver straightforward analytical report and outstanding overall service.
