March marks the announcement of CheQ’s partnership with QAI Global Institute. The new partner is a Competency Development Division that focuses on international education and training products and services that address the competence development, assessment and certifications which cater to large pools of manpower requiring skills for increased employability.

It was done during the third CheQPoints Session where it featured the expansion of the company’s training services through its partnership with QAI. The session was entitled “Building a Professional Career in Software Testing.” It was conducted last March 4 at CheQ’s Training Laboratory with guest speaker Mr. Pradeep Chennavajhula, CEO of the Edista Testing Institute – an independent industry of QAI for the field of Software Testing.

Starting the discussion with five questions assessing the personality and nature of the participants as software testers, Pradeep discussed the importance of acquiring professional certification in advancing one’s career for increased expertise and competence. CheQ Systems and QAI both believe that this expertise should go beyond the basic know-how and this can be achieved by including professional experiences, best practices, and strategic approach in building the overall qualification of a software tester.

Moreover, CheQ’s roster of competent trainers – CEO and President Roel Hernandez, CQO Eden Hernandez, R&D Manager Rommie Patricio, and Courseware Development staff Cristina Garfin and Evangeline Mancilla – became QAI Authorized Instructors for Software Testing as they all passed the examination held last March 30 at CheQ’s Training Laboratory, thus attesting our objective of serving our clients with best possible foundation for skills and knowledge in software quality engineering and testing.
